TRAIL'S END RANCH - “Paint Horse Heaven” - Prescott, Arizona

1998 Bay/Overo Stallion - Built Chevy Tough (Chevy)
APHA registered
By Chevy Big Block by Sir Royal Peponita by Peponita Pine. Thistle Bar McCue is on the bottom side of the sire. The dam's side has the Bert line throughout and Girl Freckles 70 along with other foundation lines. Chevy was bred for the ranch and he is every bit what makes up a ranch stallion. He is an easy breeder. He has the best disposition of any stallion we have been associated with.
Chevy fell through the cracks as far as training goes and therefore did not have a chance to compete. His previous owner started him as a late 2 year old and then due to serious illness left him in the pasture until his 6 year old year. I have personally riden him around the ranch and out on the trail both by himself and with other horses. He has never done anything that would make a person fear him. He has a wonderful disposition, the grandkids can hang around him without worry. He has been kept in large pastures and will come to the gate everytime when he sees the halter.
Chevy will produce big stout offspring that will be suited for pleasure, trail, halter and most definitely for ropers and ranch work. He is one of the most striking, beautiful horses you will ever lay eyes on.
We would keep him at the ranch just to have him, but I feel he has a full life in front of him as a stud producing outstanding ranch, roping, halter or just pleasure riding horses. That is not the direction that our ranch has taken.
We are asking $25,000 for Chevy, but a proper home is the most important factor.
